4. Winter flocks can have upwards of 100 birds or more during the fall and winter here in Kentucky.

We’ve seen flocks of about 60 turkeys this past fall, on the Sunrise Outfitters property. A high number of 2 year old turkeys make it through the season, allowing great turkey hunts for those just starting or for someone who has never hunted them at all.

We have several 2-man Turkey Hay bale Blinds to conceal the hunter and mask his scent. while allowing him to see game as it approaches. We also place trail cams around our property to keep tabs on the turkey throughout the year. In the past 5 years, this land has not been hunted. In addition, it is surrounded by 800-acres. With an abundance of turkeys, the opportunity to harvest a nice tom is increased!
